Meet The Founders
“Our mission is to empower timpanists from all over the world to achieve the highest level of technique, celebrate diverse musical styles, and gain a thorough knowledge of the instrument - expanding the over all contributions of timpanists playing in ensembles everywhere.”
The International Timpani Intensive is both an in-person and online annual timpani seminar that is live-streamed to the world.
Our inaugural Intensive will be held at Rice University from June 9th - June 14th, 2024 and feature masterclasses with world-class faculty, private lessons, and a mock audition with an incredible Grand Prize: a spot on the Houston Symphony Timpani Sublist with a guaranteed performance.
